The Sumerian King List has eight kings before the
worldwide cataclysm that the epic of Gilgamesh relates. If we convert the
reigns from base 60 to decimal, we can see that the Sumerian King List sums to just seven millennia and not many 10's of thousands of years. Could this provide support for
the claim that the earth itself is only thousands of years old, and not
billions?
