Sunita Williams & "Captain Butch" were stuck in space for 286 days (as in Nh-286 ☺). Jean-Henri Fabre (d. 1915) was the Father of Modern Entomology
(see graphic) and wrote the 10 volume Souvenirs
Entomoligiques. Darwin knew him and
said he was an “inimitable observer.” Fabre rejected Molecules-to-Man
transformism:
A bat is a rat that has
grown wings; the cuckoo is a sparrow-hawk that has retired from business; the
slug, a snail which…has lost its shell; the night-jar…is an old toad which…has
grown feathers in order to enter the folds and milk the goats. Nothing gives

Louis Vialleton (d. 1929) was the first Professor of
Histology in the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier (France). He was Dean for few years and he vigorously
rejected evolution. Vialleton argued
that when we examine morphology as a complete association of structure and
function in the whole animal, transformism must be denied. Vialleton's Conception of Morphology related
to the Platonic ideals.

in an article "Which of Our Genes Make Us Human?" (1998):

ourselves as special, set apart from the rest of the animal kingdom by our

surprised to find that human cells are missing a particular form of sialic
acid, a type of sugar, found in all other mammals studied so far, including the
great apes. ... Chromosomes 4, 9, and 12 have also been remodeled differently

As we see in the graphic, the differences in cytochrome among a wide range of organisms do not match the evolutionary expectation. Christian Schwabe, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology - Medical University of South Carolina, wrote in 2002:
... when one looks at a
table of cytochrome sequences the mammalian proteins resemble each other more
than either of them resembles a fish or an insect cytochrome sequence. The groups, however, are not connected by a
gentle incline between layers, a smooth increase in sequence differences, the
way evolution purportedly works. Bacterial
cytochrome differs from yeast cytochrome by as many residues as it does from
the same protein in plants, fishes, birds, and mammals (Denton, 1986). The dotted line in Fig. 9 [see the graphic]
indicates how sequences would differ if the Darwinian prediction were correct.
