Martin Luther King & Book Justice

  ** UPDATE **

My book seems to be available now:

Did you know that Martin Luther King (d. 1968), whose holiday is coming up, defended the sanctity of human life?  See below for the quotes from my latest book.

I self-published my latest book (Biological Essentialism) through Barnes and Noble.  Since I attempted to change the price, my book has vanished.  Here is an excerpt from my book (Chapter 1).  Please join my letter writing campaign to the B&N CEO to get my book on bio-essentialism out of limbo:

Is man a tragic crash in the cosmos?  Martin Luther King actually opposed,

... the doctrine of materialism, which contends that reality may be explained in terms of matter in motion ... that man is a transient accident of protons and electrons traveling blind, that thought is a temporary product of gray matter, and that the events of history are an interaction of matter and motion operating by the principle of necessity. ... This materialistic philosophy leads inevitably into a dead-end street in an intellectually senseless world.  To believe that human personality is the result of the fortuitous interplay of atoms and electrons is as absurd as to believe that a monkey by hitting typewriter keys at random will eventually produce a Shakespearean play.  Sheer magic!  It is much more sensible to say with Sir James Jeans, the physicist, that “the universe seems to be nearer to a great thought than to a great machine,” [1]

Martin Luther King spoke of humans as image-bearers:

Man is more than an animal.  ...Man is a being of spirit.  This is ultimately that which distinguishes man from his animal ancestry.  ...We cannot imagine an animal writing a Shakespearian play.  We have never seen a group of animals sitting down discussing intricate problems concerning the political and economic structure of a society.  We have never come across a group of animals speculating on the nature and destiny of the universe. ... [we hold] that man is made in the image of God.  ...Man is a spiritual being born to have communion with the eternal God of the universe.  God creates every individual for a purpose - to have fellowship with him. [2]

Oh Snap! Young Earth Truth is Chewgy Fire‼

Are you low key about being a Science Truther?  Standard geological dating methods are unreliable – fax that!  Old Earth Fallacies (#OEF) and billions of years (trillions anyone?) are sus.  Does that jargon throw you off?  If so, then it’s possible that y’all don’t have a teen in your household.  Many are awed by the tekno-babble of Big Science when they take OEF’s at face value and don’t apply their critical thinking skills to the age-of-the-earth debate.  Whence arises the old earth idea?  We read this from The Elements of Geology
by William Harmon Norton (1905):

The age of the earth [section title].  The thickness of the stratified rocks now exposed upon the eroded surface of the continents is very great. …Knowing how slowly sediments accumulate upon the sea floor, we must believe that the successive cycles which the earth has seen stretch back into a past almost inconceivably remote, and measure tens of millions and perhaps even hundreds of millions of years.

Oof‼  Obviously, Norton missed my podcast on Catastrophism.  Look at the sandstone beds above from his book.  If each layer was formed rapidly (remember Mount St. Helens from the 1980’s) and there is no large time gap between the layers (look up paraconformity), then this outcrop is a testimony to Young Earth Science (#YES).  Norton continued,

The great length of geologic time inferred from the slow change of species [section title].  Life forms, like landforms, are thus subject to change under the influence of their changing environment and of forces acting from within.  How slowly they change may be seen in the apparent stability of existing species.  In the lifetime of the observer and even in the recorded history of man, species seem as stable as the mountain and the river. But life forms and landforms are alike variable, both in nature and still more under the shaping hand of man. … Assuming also that life forms have always changed as they are changing at present, we come to realize something of the immensity of geologic time required for the evolution of life from its earliest lowly forms up to man.

Talk about anvils and alligators!  If we have 3 snakes and 5 apples, does that give us 8 Snapples?  Geological change and atoms-to-Adam transformation are two different processes.  Also, is not this circular reasoning?  Evolution needs millions of years and we know there have been millions of years of earth history because Darwin was right.

One objection to Young Earth Theory Intelligence (#YETI) is the assumption that it takes billions of years and exploding stars for certain elements to form.  Not so, for we read this from the American Institute of Physics:

Researchers in Japan and Canada are now challenging a piece of the Big Bang puzzle.  Do all of the elements heavier than iron really originate from stars exploding, or are some created deep within the Earth’s mantle, thanks to convection dynamics driven by plate tectonics?

I have argued for RPM (Rapid Plate Movements) in my prior book Is a Young Earth Possible?  Looking for Christmas gift ideas?  I have written two books defending a youthful planet from history and science.  Even Pravda allows for the presentation of young earth arguments!***

Biological Essentialism - The New Book that will Smash the Darwinian Tower of Babel

Biological Essentialism tackles Aristotle, UnDarwinism, human nature, worldview, bias, renegade scientists, Dawkins vs. Dawkins, natural kinds, gender confusion and geology among other topics.

This controversial work is fully illustrated with hundreds of graphics and the innovative ideas are well documented with over 500 reference notes.

Biological essentialism holds that there exists Essential Types of Life (ETL's), such as bears and penguins - these are distinct kinds of organisms that do not have a common ancestor and organic variation has limits.

Would you like to learn more about human exceptionalism, the fruit of evolution and the meaning of life?  If so, this book is for you!

Old Yeller and Dating Methods

In 2016, a mummified wolf pup named Zhùr was discovered in the permafrost in the Klondike goldfields near Dawson City, Yukon, Canada.

Researchers used DNA analysis and radiocarbon dating to determine that the specimen is around 57,000 years old … but is that really true?  David Coppedge (NASA, JPL, Cassini team) rightly questions this old earth fallacy (#OEF):

But how could its mother dig a den in permafrost?  If it was not permafrost at the time, how did this warm-blooded mammal become frozen so quickly, and stay frozen for 57,000 years?  It looks just like the other puppy from Siberia that they say was a third of this one’s age.  Is something wrong with the dating methods?

Carbon dating have been supported by tree ring data, but even that type of corroboration has limits.  Martha Joukowsky in A Complete Manual of Field Archeology stated that, "Since the dendrochronological sequence extends back only as far as about 5500 B.C., no way exists at present to check radiocarbon dates from 5500 to 10,000 B.C." [1]

Such excellent preservation of “Old Yeller” (Zhùr) for 50K+ years seems unreal on the face of it.  In comparison, consider the preservation of Egyptian mummies which are but a few thousand years old.  We have provided evidence that the Ice Age occurred within historical times in Is a Young Earth Possible?  We also make the argument that there was only one Ice Age in YES – Young Earth Science.
