The Dangers of Middle School and a Youthful World

The Dangers of Middle School include bullying, assault, no school choice (in many areas) and getting brainwashed in Old Earth Fallacies (OEF's).

When I was still in grade school I would read Time-Life science books and I took the millions of years at face value.  Sadly, public schools only lean one way:

#MOYA ==> Millions Of Years Ago

#BOYA ==> Billions Of Years Ago

#TOYA ==> Trillions Of Years Ago anyone?

Since the Corona Crisis, many parents have chosen homeschooling and Christian Schools.  School Choice is boss'n' for real.  Check out John Stossel's well reasoned essay for learning freedom.  Stossel came out with No, They Can't: Why Government Fails - But Individuals Succeed in 2012.

The anti-YoungEarth propaganda is almost complete.  I perused dozens of alternatives to Google and hardly found any that were sympathetic to Young Earth Science (#YES).  Try this search and see what you get:

   "young earth movement" growing.

If you find a search engine sympathetic to YETI (Young Earth Theory Intelligence) let me know:

Remarkably, the Tulsa World had a story on Young Earthers a few years ago.

Flood legends from around the globe are strong evidence of a worldwide cataclysm not that long ago.  A global catastrophe just thousands of years ago and the young earth concept go hand-in-hand.  Catastrophism implies that most of the rock record (e.g. Grand Canyon) was formed rapidly.  Miao, mountain people of China and Southeast Asia, speak the languages of the Hmong-Mien (Miao-Yao) family.  Here is their tale:

So the earth began filling with tribes and with families. Creation was shared by the clans and the peoples. These did not God's will nor returned His affection. But fought with each other defying the Godhead. Their leaders shook fists in the face of the Mighty. Then the earth was convulsed to the depth of three strata. Rending the air to the uttermost heaven ... His wrath flaring up filled His eyes and His face. Until He must come and demolish humanity. Come and destroy a whole world full of people. So it poured forty days in sheets and in torrents. Then fifty-five days of misting and drizzle. The waters surmounted the mountains and ranges. The deluge ascending leapt valley and hollow. An earth with no earth upon which to take refuge! ... But the Patriarch Nuah was righteous. The Matriarch Gaw Bo-lu-en upright. Built a boat very wide. Made a ship very vast. Their household entire got aboard and were floated, The family complete rode the deluge in safety. The animals with him were female and male. The birds went along and were mated in pairs. When the time was fulfilled, God commanded the waters. The day had arrived, the flood waters receded. ... [after a number of generations] God struck at them then, changed their language and accent. Descending in wrath, He confused tones and voices. One's speech to the others who hear him has no meaning; He's speaking in words, but they can't understand him. So the city they built was never completed; The tower they wrought has to stand thus unfinished. In despair then they separate under all heaven, They part from each other the globe to encircle. They arrive at six corners and speak the six languages. [1]

Tonal languages include Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Lao, Hmong, Punjabi,  Yorùbá, Igbo, Ewe, and Cherokee.  Note that the Miao teach that our planet is a sphere with the phrase "globe to encircle."

The Epic of Gilgamesh is a famous Deluge story.  Gilgamesh was the fifth king of Uruk (Iraq) which some date to around 2500 BC.  There is good evidence for his historicity and Archeologists claim to have discovered his tomb in 2003. [2]  Here is an account even earlier than the Gilgamesh tale.  It is known as the Nippur Tablet (CBM 13532):

[the confines of heaven and earth] I will loosen ... [a deluge I will make, and] it shall sweep away all men together ... [but thou seek l]ife before the deluge comes forth ... [For over all living beings], as many as there are, I will bring overthrow, destruction, annihilation ... build a great ship ... total height shall be its structure ... it shall be a house-boat carrying what has been saved of life ... with a strong deck cover [it] ... [the ship] which you shall make ... [into it br]ing the beasts of the field, the birds of heaven ...

Nick Liguori has documented 333 tribal accounts of the Flood ... and that's just in North and South America alone!  The Montagnais (Innu) of Canada have a tradition of the Deluge:

God. being angry with the giants, commanded a man to build large canoe. The man did so. and when he had embarked in it. the water rose on all sides, and the canoe with it. till no land was anywhere to be seen. Weary of beholding nothing but a heaving mass of water. the man threw an otter into the flood and the animal dived and brought up a little earth. The man took the earth or mud in his hand and breathed on it, and at once it began to grow. ... As it continued to grow into an island, he desired to know whether it was large enough to support him. Accordingly he placed a reindeer upon it. but the animal soon made the circuit of the island and returned to him, from which he concluded that the island was not yet large enough. So he continued to blow on it till the mountains, the lakes, and the river were formed. Then he disembarked. [3]

Why are the hundreds of flood legends global?  Charles Martin explains:

The story of the Deluge - or the Global Flood of Noah - permeates nearly every culture in the world in some way, shape, or form. While details vary between the different cultures, the same basic elements, occur in all versions. ... the different versions all refer to the same event - passed on from generation to generation, through various developing cultures. Through these legends, this epic event has remained woven into the tapestry of cultural history - sharing not just the story of survival, but the power of obedience, and the fulfillment of God's enduring promise.

YES Sports Fans, there is Young Earth Science (Blake Griffin)

              *** UPDATE ***
Be sure to catch our latest video.  We tackle a potpourri of topics:  Thunder & C-14, Tree Rings & Ammonites,  Norman Macbeth (Darwin Retried), OMNI magazine & censorship ... #Rubio #NormanMacbeth #Darwin #AltMed #TreeRings

Hotep = B @ ☮

According to Rob Tannenbaum, "Blake Griffin is one of the five or six best players in the NBA, and certainly the funniest ..."   Griffin's father is black  and his mother is white.  Griffin won the slam dunk contest as a rookie and has the special talent of jumping over cars.

In 2014, Griffin was interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine:
You were home-schooled until the seventh grade. Are you Team Creationism or Team Evolution?
"I was raised in a Christian household and went to a Christian high school, so I believe in creationisim, for sure."
So you think the Earth is only 6,000 years old?
"I don't want to do the math, but somewhere around there."
Homeschooling is great and we support the efforts of the new Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to promote school choice:

Let the education dollars follow each child, instead of forcing the child to follow the dollars. This is pretty straightforward. And it’s how you go from a closed system to an open system that encourages innovation. People deserve choices and options.

According to Neal McCluskey (Center for EducationalFreedom),

With federal money comes federal rules, and the point of charter schooling is to have innovative institutions unfettered by red tape and instead held accountable by parents choosing them.  The last thing we want is not just more red tape, but tape from a single dispenser: the federal government.
if you have not had a good laugh lately, don't pass up Blake Griffin's funny commercials!

Is It Time For A Young Earth?

What is your opinion about the age of the earth?  What does Hillary think about it?  What is the Donald's view on this issue?  A relatively short history for this planet is now a live possibility.  Now is the time for all good scientists to come to the aid of Young Earth Science (YES).  Formerly, Young Earth Theory was discounted, but consider these words from R. F. Diffendal, from his article “Earth in Four Dimensions: Development of the Ideas of Geologic Time and History”:

To some extent the arguments about a short Earth history of a few thousand years versus a long history of billions of years are still going on today.  Most natural scientists support the long history.  However, some people including Richard Milton [Mensan, agnostic, science journalist] … support the idea of a short one. [1]

Be rational, this planet is younger than you think.  Some of the best evidences for devotees of a young earth include:

  • No fossil trees with thousands of rings
  • Contradictory radiometric dates
  • Solar effects on decay rates
  • History only goes back thousands of years
  • The human genome is going downhill
  • Lack of trillions of Neanderthal graves [2]

The oldest tree in the fossil record only has 816 rings (that's not recent).  Other arguments include catastrophism and soft tissue and DNA in fossils supposedly millions of years old.  We can’t re-create the Grand Canyon in a laboratory – the scientific evidence supports a rapid formation.  Mount St. Helens deposited thick layers and formed a mini Grand Canyon, so it does not take long ages for deep canyons to come about.

A Faint Young Sun is a problem for old earth advocates.  Many can talk origins, but they are depending on Old Earth Fallacies (OEF’s).  Research the facts for yourself!  Despite attempted rebuttals, the overwhelming scientific evidence tells us that my favorite planet is quite young.

Monitor the news and see how the perspective of most journalists is biased against young-earthers.  The public schools have a virtual monopoly and push the idea that the real history of the earth spans billions of years.  The educational establishment may club students over the head with old earth propaganda, but young earth sentiment remains strong as a recent AP-GfK poll demonstrates.

The young earth clock is gaining in popularity.  Young Earth Science (YES) is the future.  Google young earth and be amazed at the millions of hits.  Earth-Age is a topic that young earth skeptics need to rethink.  What would it take to disprove an old earth?

A few die-hard fans of the academic elite have turned scientists into gods and trust their every exposition.  For hundreds of years since the scientific revolution, most thinking people held that to a young earth.  It’s time to choose – will you investigate the facts that favor a fresh planet?

Young earth views are widespread.  A 2007 poll of 1600 Russians found that 30% agree with the statement, “[The] first human beings were living in the same era as dinosaurs.”  A 2005 survey of residents of the European Union had 29% agreeing with man-dino coexistence!  Are there dinosaurs in the modern world?

A powerful young earth book that can bring positive change is YES – Young Earth Science.  Just google yes jay hall or search yes jay hall on Amazon to learn more about this fascinating topic.  There is even a YouTube channel.  Join the discussion, build the dialog and follow young earth today.

The omnicultural approach to this controversy teaches us that a global catastrophe occurred just thousands of years ago based on traditions from around the globe.  If catastrophism is the leading paradigm in earth history, then a young earth makes sense.  Stokes and Judson state in their Geology text Introduction to Geology (Prentice-Hall) that,

A catastrophist might contend that the twisting and breaking of strata, the transportation of huge blocks of rock, the violent cutting of canyons, and the wholesale destruction of life is within the power of a great universal flood - and he would be right. [3]

Yes Virginia (& MD & DC), there is evidence for a young earth.  In recent times the progressive attitude has been open to a global cataclysm.  Consider Roland Emmerich’s disaster film 2012 which was based on Charles Hapgood’s pole shift theory which Einstein praised.

The Huffington Post had the following headline: Climate Change Worse Than We Thought, Likely To Be “Catastrophic Rather Than Simply Dangerous.”  The Huffington Post admits to catastrophic events in the future but ignores the great global disaster that changed the world just a few millennia ago.

Support liberty – press for school choice!  Allow our children to be exposed to Young Earth Studies.  Join the Young Earth Network that sees the robust worldview of a young world endorsed by Philosophy, History, Biology and Geology.  The International Year of Planet Earth should include speakers who accept a young earth.  Teach science – share the controversy!  Join the debate – our world is thousands and not billions of years old.

To uncritically accept OEF’s is a literal mistake.  The conflict between young earth theory and old-earthism clearly has implications for evolution and Darwinism.  Please share your thoughts >>  YoungEarthScience@yahoo.com

Is School Choice Weak?

On January 19th, 2016 (the day after Martin Luther King Day) 10,000 school choice supporters rallied in Tallahassee.  Parents, educators and activists advocated for the biggest private school choice program in the U.S. (78K students participate).  A lawsuit is currently challenging it on constitutional grounds.  Martin Luther King III addressed the crowd near the Florida State Capitol.

Young Earth Science (YES) is one key motivating school choice.  Many hold that the earth is thousands of years old and not billions.  In a survey that came out in 2014, a full 36% of Americans are not too (or not at all) confident that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old (AP-GfK).
Homeschoolers the Jonas Brothers performed at National School Choice Week 2013 in Phoenix.  Learn more about School Choice Week here.

Donald Trump on school choice:

... Open the schoolhouse doors and let parents choose the best school for their children.  Education reformers call this school choice, charter schools, vouchers, even opportunity scholarships.  I call it competition - the American way.

Ted Cruz on school choice:

I am a passionate supporter of homeschooling. ... The Democrats are essentially bought and paid for by the union bosses and the teachers unions, so they will always oppose school choice.
